CoworkingCafé is the all-in-one platform for finding & booking coworking spaces. You can browse and book coworking spaces in top markets from the top operators across the country, all within CoworkingCafé. It’s quick and simple, no matter where you are.
CoworkingCafé was born out of CommercialCafe and another arm of the CommercialEdge Listings Network. The Network also consists of CommercialCafe, PropertyShark, CommercialSearch, 42Floors, and Point2.
We’ve had great success in growing traffic and expanding the listing universe on these sites. As the office world evolves, we want to allow flex workspace operators to market their space.
2. How Does CoworkingCafé App Work?
For Operators:
Operators can post their coworking spaces on CoworkingCafé to drive traffic, leads, and exposure – CoworkingCafé is part of the CommercialEdge Listings Network with more than 2 million visits and close to 30,0000 leads per month across all commercial ILSs.
The operators can manage listings and integrate their booking process with ours, allowing clients to book space within the CoworkingCafé ecosystem.
For Clients:
CoworkingCafé is a one-stop shop for searching for and booking coworking spaces across the country. With more than 5,000 listings, those searching for coworking spaces can find a workspace or meeting room to rent for as long as they’d like and, in many cases, book that space right within CoworkingCafé.
3. Why Do You Think It Is Important To Create A Platform Where People Can Access Different Workplaces Based On Their Needs?
More people are working from home now than at any time in recent history, and while the comfort of home is a definite benefit, there are drawbacks, like distractions, the lack of social interaction, and the blurring of work and home life. CoworkingCafé allows those working from home and those traveling to find a workspace that fits their needs, vibe, and, most importantly, their schedule.
It can also be challenging for coworking space operators to attract clients. There are so many different spaces in each city. A centralized platform that handles searches, sends leads, and provides bookings makes the whole experience easier for clients and operators.

• The total number of properties includes unique operators from the same building. If an operator had more than one space in the same location/building, the number of properties remained one.

Office Timesharing is on the Rise (Hybrid work). Hybrid work schedules for most companies mean splitting time between remote work and time in the office. Hybrid work may also mean rotating with another company through the same office space. As companies lock in Hybrid schedules, they will need a useful and efficient tool that meets the needs of office workers married with optimum space utilization.
2. How Did You See The ‘co-Working Space Trend’ Change Over The Years?
Given coworking locations’ flexibility and amenities, there is real opportunity to align with what corporations need in future space decisions.
CommercialEdge is tracking around 120 million square feet of flexible workspace, and we expect that number to rise significantly in the future. Thousands of companies across the U.S. are still grappling with exactly how much office space they need when many employees are in the workplace only part of the week.
A growing number of companies now let their employees work part-time from home but still want them to be together in the office at least a few days a week to foster collaboration. That means offices are either mostly full or mostly empty, depending on the day of the week.
Coworking operators are seeing big companies expand their investments into flexible workspaces and bring employees back at higher rates than traditional offices. Some are growing their own footprints to meet the rising demand. Market experts said this could help fill some of the millions of square feet of vacant office space.
1. We Can’t Escape Talking About The Impact Of The Pandemic. How Do You Feel This Long Quarantine Impacted How Employers And Employees Approach Priorities And Work Life?
The pandemic accelerated the utilization of office space and organizational dynamics. Now is a new dawn for coworking. When employees have a set schedule and know when, where, and how to accomplish performance objectives, they can more effectively plan their lives inside and outside of work. This can mean more time for preparing meals or professional training or education, resulting in happier, healthier employees. That, in turn, benefits employers.
2. What About Your Future Projects?
Office owners’ sentiment towards flex and coworking has changed drastically. We believe asset owners realize that this is part of not only an occupier strategy but also needs to be part of asset owners’ strategy.

Workplace preferences vary across age groups. Opinions over the future of remote work are divided between senior cohorts and their colleagues. The complexities of hybrid work continue to cause issues for those managing teams. Companies need sensitivity/flexibility to the demographics of devising coworking hybrid models.

The reason Coworking (flex) is so important as we look at where the future office is going is the expectation that as much as 30% of office space will be consumed by Coworking (flexibly) by 2030.
