Samsung keeps adding features for remote workers. This time, the latest devices improve virtual security for remote teams.
During the last Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade show, the company presented the Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360. In short, the first one comes with 5G. And the second one integrates S Pen (stylus) functionality and works as a tablet.
The South Korean tech giant aims to improve productivity and virtual security for remote teams. Both devices are available in 13.3 and 15.6-inch, featuring a 1080p AMOLED display and an Intel’s 12th Gen Intel Core processor. In addition, Samsung ensures a solid collaboration with the chipmaker to ensure complete processor optimization.
After the global shift to remote work, cybersecurity has been the primary concern for most companies and businesses. As a result, Samsung focuses on virtual security for remote teams. The Book2 Pro’s 5G connectivity matches Microsoft’s secured-core PC requirements. The aim is to combine “enterprise-level security meets mobile freedom,” integrating hardware, firmware, and software to boost productivity and ensure privacy on companies’ data.
Finally, Samsung highlighted its long-term sustainability plan. The company will incorporate recycled materials in every new product. And the aim is to eliminate plastic in mobile packaging by 2025 entirely. For example, the Galaxy Book2 Pro’s touchpad holder and the inner bracket of the series are made of repurposed discarded fishing nets. The Pro devices are composed of 20% reclaimed ocean-bound plastics (OBP).
To conclude, the Book2 Pro series incorporates the latest global trend. First, they focus on remote remote workers’ productivity and virtual security for remote teams. Second, they promote a more innovative and sustainable production system. So, the pandemic influences are leading to a more sustainable and flexible idea of work and tools.
