A new remote working network will open its next hub in Dundalk next month.

The Grow Remote Dundalk Chapter will open on December 1st, joining the 75 other chapters around the nation.

Grow Remote is a non-profit social organization that aims to demonstrate the advantages of remote working, with each chapter trying to create a social impact by assisting individuals to live, work, and engage in their communities.

According to a statement by the group:

“The launch of the new Dundalk Chapter, aims to connect local workers be they, working remotely, business start-ups or interested in finding remote work which allows them to work from home. Monthly meet-ups, which will take place on the 1 st Wednesday of the month will vary from informal coffee sessions with like-minded people to local speakers on particular topics which have been raised by members.”

Ciara Breen will be the chapter lead for Dundalk Grow Remote, managing events and activities for anyone involved in Dundalk’s remote ecosystem.

Ms Breen recently returned to Dundalk after working remotely for Standard Life Edinburgh during the epidemic, but she joined Creative Spark earlier this year and will lead the new Clanbrassil Street co-working space when it opens early next year.

Grow Remote Dundalk has a Facebook page for anybody interested in learning more about the organization.
