New York Still Best Destination For Remote Work

New York remote work

As for 2021, New York is the best destination for remote work.

The North American Digital Nomad Index analyzed Airbnb data to rank the best destinations for remote workers and digital nomads. Most digital platforms are creating different lists based on features for long-stay travelers. As a result of this US list, New York is one of the best places to travel and work.

The pandemic strongly impacted the city. Yet, businesses in the city quickly responded to COVID’s transformation of habits. From luxury work spots to new co-working spaces, the Big Apple offers numerous services. And New York remains the best destination for remote work.

For the ranking, Airbnb data mix work and leisure services. They consider factors like:

  • Long-term guests’ reviews
  • Affordability
  • Hospitality
  • Popularity among travelers
  • Host income

As a result of this ranking, the best cities for remote work in the US are:

  • Los Angeles
  • New York
  • San Francisco
  • Houston
  • Seattle

As the trend to work and travel is increasing, Airbnb is partnering with local organizations to facilitate traveling and administration. Even after the pandemic, New York is the best US remote work destination. And for long-stay travelers is a great chance to live temporarily in new cities while growing professionally.
