Frisco (Texas) Ranks as the Best City for Remote Workers

A new ranking reveals that Frisco is at the top of the list of the best U.S cities for remote workers. A study conducted by LawnStarted ranked nearly 200 of the largest U.S. cities to find out which one is the best for remote workers. The results are surprising, as Frisco, Naperville, and Dallas, are on top of the list. 

A report by Lensa published at the start of the month revealed that Texas ranked as the state with the most unhappy workers. However, in this new report, LawnStarted examined 20 different factors in each state, and two cities in Texas ranked among the best ones for remote workers.

LawnStarter Report: Which Are the Best U.S. Cities for Remote Workers

The LawnStarter reporter identified factors such as remote job opportunities, cost of living, availability of personal workspace, safety, coworking spaces, among others, to determine which cities have it all for remote workers. 

The best 10 cities to live as a remote worker are:

  1. Frisco, TX
  2. Naperville, IL
  3. Dallas, TX
  4. Arlington, TX
  5. Atlanta, GA
  6. Austin, TX
  7. Tampa, FL
  8. Plano, TX
  9. Raleigh, NC
  10. Cincinnati, OH

Frisco, in particular, ranked high on connectivity, cost of living, and convenience. 

According to the report, these are the worst cities for remote workers:

  1. Salinas, CA
  2. Honolulu, HI
  3. Lancaster, CA
  4. Modesto, CA
  5. Santa Ana, CA
  6. Escondido, CA
  7. San Bernardino, CA
  8. Stockton, CA
  9. Oxnard, CA
  10. Palmdale, CA
