Bangkok is ranked as the best city in Asia for digital nomads according to a report by The Instant Group; the UK bases flexible working solutions provider. The study analyzed 80 locations, focusing on affordability, broadband speed, and weather.
With more than 20 million digital nomads worldwide, now that governments are releasing flexible visas, the number will keep increasing.
Digital Nomads Best Cities Report
The Instant Group analyzed which cities provide cost-efficient living with great weather, connectivity, and quality of life. Surprisingly, popular tourist destinations like London, Paris, and Venis are far below the list and are not considered the best destinations for digital nomads.
Lisbon was categorized as the best city for digital nomads. And it’s not the first time Portugal´s capital has taken this place, as it was also ranked as the best city by the Savills Executive Nomad Index.
Bangkok was listed as the second-best city for digital nomads. The city is becoming a popular destination for remote workers as it offers a great quality of life and excellent broadband speed.
