Airbnb Partners with 20 Destinations To Promote Remote Work

Airbnb is partnering with different destinations across the globe to support digital nomads and remote workers. The global accommodation platform is encouraging nations and some of the largest cities to improve the remote work experience. 

Many governments around the world are currently working to release digital nomad visas and permissions for tourists to stay for longer periods of time. Countries like Bali, Argentina, Portugal, Italy, and Greece, are among those releasing digital nomad visas and supporting digital nomads. 

20 Ideal Destinations for Digital Nomads Supported by Airbnb 

Airbnb is partnering with these 20 destinations to support digital nomads and improve their experience. These countries are simultaneously working on improving the visa application process, tax compliance, and investing in basic amenities. 

The 20 places that Airbnb says they will collaborate with to support remote employees are:

  2. Bali, Indonesia
  3. Brindisi, Puglia, Italy  
  4. Buenos Aires, Argentina
  5. Caribbean (Referring to numerous countries belonging to the geopolitical group)
  6. Canary Islands (Autonomous Community), Spain 
  7. Cape Town, South Africa
  8. Colombia (Country)
  9. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  10. Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy
  11. Lisbon, Portugal 
  12. Malta (Country)
  13. Mexico City, Mexico 
  14. Palm Springs, California, United States
  15. Queensland (State), Australia
  16. Rural France (Airbnb does not specify which parts of ‘rural’ France)
  17. Salzkammergut, Austria
