WarnerMedia Asks Employees to Return to the Office

WarnerBros

The Warners Bros. Discovery leadership is announcing its new policies for the company’s future. Adria Alpert Romm, chief people and culture office, shared with employees via email the implementation of a new hybrid work schedule. Starting June 1st, all employees will be required to return to the office at least three days a week.

WarnerMedia, like most companies, continues crafting its work policies. In most cases, businesses want to support hybrid work models. However, for most employees, the best solution is fully remote work.

WarnerMedia Hybrid Policy

The new policy announced by WarnerMedia will still allow employees to work from home. From June 1st, the company expects employees to go to the office at least three days a week. Meanwhile, the transition will begin with employees assisting in the office at least two days a week, starting next week.

Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav is known to support collaborative in-person work. However, today’s return-to-the-office policy brought stress and anxiety to many employees who will need to make arrangements (childcare or pet care, for example) to return to the office next week.

The company will still allow remote work with no strict requirements in some cases.
