The new co-working in Pune airport will open on October 15, 2022.
ANAROCK Retail is a retail service connected to the ANAROCK Group. The next project is a new retail and co-working space in the airport. The idea is to create an open space combining shopping, work, and flexible offices.
New Co-working in Pune Airport
The project will spread across 130000 sq. ft. on three floors. And the last floor, around 65,000 sq. ft. will be a dedicated co-working space. The flexible office will host almost 2000 working professionals simultaneously, providing services and parking spots.
ANAROCK Retail Director Mayank Sharan said: “The new Pune Airport retail and co-working complex is being carried out under the PPP model with AAI, with development being carried out exclusively by Pebbles Infra-Tech Pvt. Ltd. Following the shopper profile, the retail spaces are ideal for tenants such as high-end electronics, apparel, and F&B outlets and we are tenanting them accordingly.”
After the pandemic, the flexible workplace demand keeps growing. From traditional monasteries to food halls, new co-working are rising everywhere. Following this approach, ANAROCK wants to improve Indian airport services by creating a modern environment combining different necessities.
As Pebbles Infra-Tech Pvt Director Sunil Nahar adds: “What makes this mixed-use complex at Pune Airport unique is that it will serve passengers and is also an independent retail and co-working destination. Adding co-working spaces in the commercial office spaces responds to a current need. Co-working gained prominence during the pandemic, but its inclusion in the complex is also a function of the location profile. Remote/hybrid working air travelers are an obvious customer source. Still, these high-end co-working spaces will also be a major draw for working professionals from areas like Viman Nagar, Tingre Nagar, Dhanori, and Wagholi.”
So, from October, travelers can stop at the new co-working in Pune airport while waiting for thor flights.
