Airbnb Ranked The Best Destinations for Digital Nomads in North America

Airbnb listed the top destinations in the United States and Canada for long-term guests and their hosts based on hospitality, affordability, and popularity. The most popular destinations in the US are California, New York, Texas, and Washington. And in Canada, Ontario, Québec, British Columbia, and Alberta.

With the rise of digital nomads, Airbnb has become the number one platform for accommodations. Travelers can now stay for longer than 4 weeks in the same apartment and also ensure they have good wifi connectivity to work comfortably. According to a new report, Airbnb hosts in the US earned a combined total of more than $2 billion from long-term stays alone from Q1 2021 through Q1 2022. In Canada, hosts earned more than $280 million from long-term stays during the same period.

With hosts across the US and Canada earning by welcoming long-term stay guests, Airbnb listed the top destinations with the highest share of long-term stay ready listings. The list is based on cities and towns with at least 1,000 active listings as of Q1 2022.
