A recent survey conducted by recruitment agency Robert Half revealed that nearly 3 in 10 working dads are willing to take a pay cut in order to work from home.

For most, working remotely allows them to spend more quality time with their family and help with household chores that, when attending the office, they aren’t able to do.

The survey also found out that not only they would accept a salary reduction in order to work remotely, but they are currently looking into their career options.

54% of working dads planned or started looking for a new job in the first half of 2023. And over 87% of those seeking new employment opportunities were interested in hybrid or fully remote roles. Additionally, 32% pointed to more flexibility in their lives as the main reason why are looking for a new role.

The survey had over 1,122 responses from employees in Canada aged 18 and over.
