According to recently released survey data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the percentage of individuals engaged in remote work decreased from approximately 18% in 2021 to 15.2% in 2022.
This decrease has also impacted other areas, such as commuting.

In 2022, there was an increase in the rate of individuals commuting to work alone in a vehicle, rising from 67.8% to 68.7%, and for carpoolers, the percentage increased from 7.8% to 8.6%.
Moreover, the use of public transportation experienced a year-over-year growth, climbing from 2.5% to 3.1%.
