Owl Labs Published State of Remote Work 2021: Here Are the Key Findings

Owl Labs released its 5th annual report on remote work, ‘’State of Remote Work 2021’’., which analyzes how employees feel about hybrid and remote work.  The report focuses on exploring how employee expectations have shifted, and overall how employers are readjusting to employees’ demand for remote work. 

2020 was the year where most companies transformed the way they worked. However, 2021 was the year where the ‘’world stayed remote.’’ Many questions such as how have employees’ behaviors have evolved since the pandemic? Or, how are employers adjusting to new expectations? were explored throughout the report.

State of Remote Work 2021: Key Findings

As most companies had already shifted to remote work because of 2020 and the pandemic, this year employees’ expectations permanently shifted. Most of them didn’t want to return to the office but wanted a more flexible lifestyle.
