Elon Musk took over Twitter and renamed it X. He said he has long-imagined it as an everything app, much more than just a social media platform.
Prior to Musk’s takeover, Twitter users could only use it to express their opinions in few characters.
But, by the end of 2023, X was slowly turning into a job-search platform as well. It seems that Tesla´s owner is looking to be LinkedIn´s next competitor.
Now, the company revealed that more than 1 million companies on X are looking to hire candidates.
“Over a million job postings have already been posted on X across various industries,” a post by X Hiring said. Elon Musk has reshared the post on the platform.
They claimed companies across AI, financial services, SaaS, and more are finding qualified candidates using X Hiring every day.
Since its creation in August 2023, X Hiring has been part of a broader strategy to diversify the X offerings.
It was initially launched for business profiles within its Verification for Organizations package.
Recently, X Hiring has reported rapid growth as many companies try to find candidates through it.
