DigitalOcean Report Finds Developers Quitting Over Compensation and the Lack of Remote Work Policies

DigitalOcean

DigitalOcean, the cloud for developers and startups, announced its latest findings in its report. Nowadays, developers’ talent shortage is getting worse for two reasons: compensation and lack of remote work possibilities.

Over a quarter of developers started a new job in the past year, and 42% of those who didn’t are considering changing jobs this year. DigitalOcean’s report identified that compensation and the desire for fully remote or flexible work environments are the top reasons developers are considering quitting.
