Amazon CEO Andy Jassy remains firm on his return to office policy, stating that remote workers need to come back or “it’s probably not going to work out for you at Amazon.”
Approximately three months following the CEO’s directive to have white-collar employees return to the office for three days every week. Amazon had wrongly alleged that employees were failing to adhere to the policy.
This came after the company openly acknowledged its lack of supporting data to substantiate the rationale behind the newly imposed mandate.
Still, Amazon’s CEO is demanding employees to return to the office as “the time for disagreeing” is over.
He mentioned:
“We are going back to the office at least three days a week, and it’s not right for all of our teammates to be in three days a week and for people to refuse to do so.”
