JOB TITLE: Structures & Payload Design Engineer III (REMOTE)
LOCATION: Remote Can work anywhere in the US, but must work core Tukwilahours.
PAY RATE: $77.00/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
Use 3-D CAD tools and other design methods to develop, maintain, and modify payload system and component designs, providing product definitions to engineering teams, production, suppliers, and external customers.
Perform analysis and test results to validate systems and components meet requirements.
Manage supplier development, testing, and production activities, ensuring optimal design and program goals are met.
Develop new design/analysis processes to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency. Investigate emerging technologies to inform future product designs.
Work under general direction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's/PhD with equivalent experience
Experience with structural and payload design and analysis
Ability to work independently and under general direction
Strong communication skills
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
