Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for several Structural Engineers (Remote)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to support design of a new nuclear facility.
Candidate will be performing the following:
* Design structural systems
* GT Strudl, STAAD Pro and FEA (finite element analysis) programs experience is desired
* Concrete structures design experience of a nuclear infrastructure project is desired
* Fuel Fabrication design experience preferred
* Must be highly knowledgeable and proficient in material designs such as steel, masonry, concrete, cold formed metal design.
* Requires ability to work with AISC, ACI, AWS, ASD, ANSI, and other codes and standards applicable to nuclear facility designs.
Qualifications
* B.S. degree in Civil engineering or similar engineering degree is required
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience is required.
* PE License preferred (but not required)
* Must have experience working with nuclear facilities.
* Must have knowledge of project engineering activities
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
* UF6 or centrifuge facility design experience highly desired
