Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology solutions, including but not limited to architecture, applications development, cloud/infrastructure/database, network engineering
OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience
OR related experience

Preferred qualifications:
Broad technology experience including cloud architecture, applications development, security, storage, SQL &, NoSQL databases, CI/CD, analytics, machine learning, networking, storage, DevOps, containers, serverless, management and monitoring, cloud migrations, and IT transformation
Experience architecting/designing solutions built on the cloud – AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging
Demonstrated ability to learn/adapt to new technologies quickly
Presentation and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and technical teams
Meets/exceeds Anchor Loans technical/functional depth and complexity for this role

At the core of our company is our proprietary technology. We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our world-class technology team. As a Software Solutions Architectyou will develop the next-generation technologies that change how applications are transformed, validated, and deployed. This includes developing testing and validation automation while maintaining the production availability, conversion/migration automation, distributed computing, and large-scale enterprise grade system design.

Gathers customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer/partner business outcomes. Adapts business models, plans, and solutions to insights
Leverages and champions an existing architecture approach to achieve Anchor Loans’ commitments to the customer/partner. Identifies growth opportunities based on knowledge of customer/partner needs
Receives and synthesizes data about business and technical requirements to address them with technical architecture(s), and demonstrates/proves those solution’s capability and business value through design collaboration sessions
Applies broad technical knowledge across various architecture solutions to meet business and technology requirements and resolve identified technical constraints
Provides technical thought leadership for technical architecture design, development, and deployment and oversight for a large set of technical initiatives
Identifies, escalates, and works to resolve technical blockers (e.g., changing configurations, sample coding) to accelerate architecture implementations
Adapts methodology and applies governance to identify, communicate, and minimize business and technical risks (e.g. Well-Architected Framework, Enterprise Scale Landing Zone, Cloud Adoption Framework). Defines conditions of success adheres to quality assurance, and calculates risks while designing and/or delivering solutions
Respectfully challenges when going in the wrong direction and escalates appropriately
Acts as a mentor to junior colleagues to educate them on technical and non-technical concepts.

Leads architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment application and increase business value. Drives efforts to ensure that the environment and applications are well-architected.
