The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
Senior Underwriter duties:
- Create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
- Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through e-mail, phone calls and personal visits
- Deliver quotes and binders to retail agents
- Remain up to date with new insurance companies' offers and how to leverage them
- Prospect for new business markets and / or lines to write
- Mentor and train new team members
- Assist in the day-to-day operations as required
Underwriting Team Lead requirements:
- 3 – 5 years carrier or agency commercial lines underwriting experience
Pursuant to California regulation, the compensation range for this position is as stated and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
California Pay Range
$110,000—$145,000 USD
Pursuant to New York regulation, the compensation range for this position is as stated and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
New York Pay Range
$110,000—$145,000 USD
