Aurora Wellness is an outpatient psychiatric practice with in-person locations in White Plains, NY and Brooklyn, NY, providing comprehensive mental health care to adults across New York. Our services include psychiatric medication management delivered both in person and via telehealth, therapy, as well as in-person Spravato (esketamine) treatment at our physical locations.
Aurora Wellness focuses on evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care, with an emphasis on thoughtful medication management, careful monitoring, and continuity of care. Our clinical team works closely with patients and referring providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care in a supportive outpatient setting.
Role Description
The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatric care to adult patients, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Care may be delivered via telehealth and/or in person, allowing for meaningful schedule flexibility and remote work depending on preference and licensure.
Psychiatrists have full clinical autonomy in diagnosis and treatment decisions, within a collaborative and supportive outpatient setting. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Our backend team handles credentialing, scheduling, and billing, allowing clinicians to focus their time and energy on patient care rather than administrative tasks. This is a 100% outpatient role with no call or inpatient responsibilities.
Qualifications
- MD or DO, board certified in Psychiatry
- Active New York medical license or willing to obtain an NY medical license
- Expertise in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, ethical, and confidential care
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort practicing independently in an outpatient setting
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care to adults, including medication management is a plus
- Experience with Spravato treatment is a plus
