Part-Time Contracts Counsel – Remote – Engagement
Latitude is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Contracts Counsel to support a leading engineering and infrastructure company in negotiating and managing a variety of public sector and commercial agreements. This remote contract attorney role offers flexible work hours (approximately 15–20 hours per week) and the opportunity to engage in sophisticated commercial contracting work without the demands of a traditional full-time position. This engagement is ideal for a lawyer seeking flexible, remote (WFH) work focused on public agency and infrastructure-related contracts.
Basic Requirements for the Part-Time Contracts Counsel:
- 3 – 5+ years of experience practicing commercial contracting law
- Significant experience reviewing, negotiating, and drafting public agency and professional services agreements
- Familiarity with federally funded project requirements strongly preferred
- Experience working with a variety of client contract templates and negotiating risk terms pragmatically
- Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligible for in-house exemption)
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation:
Pay:
The annualized pay for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate, which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits:
In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD, and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
