Our client, a premier intellectual property law firm in Washington, DC, seeks an experienced Patent Prosecution Associate or Of Counsel to join its highly regarded chemical and biotechnology patent practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled patent attorney to work with top-tier domestic and international clients across a diverse range of biological, biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical patent matters.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in chemical or biotech patent prosecution, PTAB post-grant proceedings, and/or opinion work.
- Education: An advanced degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Credentials: Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Skills: Strong academic credentials, excellent analytical abilities, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic legal team.
