We are hiring a Head of Finance to manage and optimize the finance function. You will be responsible for day-to-day operational finance, working collaboratively with venture capital fund accounting and finance teams, and laying the foundation for scaling the business. The ideal candidate will have experience within a high-growth fintech startup and an interest or background in the venture capital industry.

Remote candidates will be considered; applicants should be based in the U.S., preferably in the Bay Area.
The Head of Finance Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing financial operations of a rapidly growing startup
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll
- Assisting with hiring, benefits, and human resources
- Collaborating closely with the fund accounting and finance team
- Providing financial reports to leadership and the Board
- Managing state and federal compliance and reporting
- Implementing accounting and finance software systems
- Managing the Cap Table
What You Have
- 10+ years of finance experience including accounting, FP&A, and systems
- Experience in a rapidly scaling fintech environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success working with cross-functional teams
- Background in financial modeling and projections
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and modern finance tools
- Understanding of accounting nuances in startup investing
- Proactive attitude towards opportunities and challenges
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Interest and experience in the venture capital industry (nice to have)

$130,000 – $175,000 a year
