TMHNA is undertaking an aggressive digital transformation designed to add unprecedented efficiency to its operation and improve the customer experience for its large customer base. As a part of this digital transformation, TMHNA is developing and installing a highly integrated Dealer Management System (DMS) across its entire dealer network. The platform will be highly integrated with our corporate system and will connect data and information across dealer territories. The DMS is central to many of TMHNA’s most strategic initiatives and vision for the future.
About our department:
Our department’s role is to cultivate good relationships with TMHNA dealerships while ensuring governance, integrity, accuracy and timely completion of all requirements, through all phases of the DMS implementation for each dealership.
About the position:
The Field Manager is responsible for overall dealer management system deployment delivery for one or more dealer deployments simultaneously. Supports the deployment team in facilitating the execution of the comprehensive plan, including activities, milestones, scorecards, exit/entry criteria, and mitigating risks. Works with the data lead and data facilitator to ensure monthly dealer data is received and loaded incrementally throughout and leading up to deployment. Communicates deployment delivery progress with both TMHNA and the dealer throughout the project. The successful candidate will have a proven history of bringing programs to completion, meeting or exceeding quality and on-time delivery requirements.
By deployment phase, responsibilities include:
Mobilization – Develop/update the dealer project plan in the deployment wave schedule. Prepare/facilitate deployment kick-off with the dealer team. Manage updates to the deployment dashboards (PowerBI) across all phases of the deployment playbook. Ensure all deployment activities and deliverables by phase are completed based on templates in the deployment playbook. Secure key user assignment to DMS user roles and licensing requirements.
Data Preparation – Ensure the data facilitator has a detailed (level 3) schedule to align with the deployment deadlines. Verify dealer data is received per the expected timelines. Verify that data pipelines are executed. Ensure dealer data is loaded into the dealer environment.
Configuration – Ensure all dealer environments are ready to enable training, deployment, and hypercare. Complete DMS Application configuration.
Testing – Verify dealer key users have access to the testing environment. Schedule/facilitate UAT sessions, including office hours for Q&A. Collaborate with the testing lead to ensure incidents are logged, triaged, and tracked to closure. Provide daily status and testing performance metrics updates.
Training – Develop the training plan (schedule, resources) and communication plan in conjunction with the deployment lead. Coordinate training schedule invites and communications with the assigned dealer. Facilitate instructor-led training by domain (sales, service/field service, operations, parts) for dealer key users. Collect course feedback by domain.
Deployment – Facilitate deployment readiness and go-live planning, including environment readiness, end-user licensing and access, dealer data readiness, support team readiness, and overall deployment.
Hypercare – Facilitate incident tracking, triaging, and issue resolution for dealer end-users. Ensure knowledge transition with the production support team.
Must be able to gain consensus and deal with sensitive issues in a tactful manner. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills (team motivation and interdepartmental coordination), organizational ability, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
A bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Six or more years of broad experience in project management is required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be beneficial.
Experience working in material handling or other durable goods manufacturing environment is preferred.
About the total compensation package:
Salary – $88,700 – $113,700 per year. Compensation commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.
