We are looking to help our client an established Global Enterprise SaaS-based technology company hire a CTO for their leadership team.

As a critical member of the leadership team, this position will focus on their commitment to developing their most valuable asset, their product. They are looking for a leader to bring their expertise and support as they scale beyond Series B and complete Series C very soon.

As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be overseeing the entire engineering, data science and product team. You will help lead a team of talented and highly collaborative Senior managers to ensure their online cloud platform is reliable, scalable, maintainable, and provides the most value to customers across the globe.

You will

Lead adoption of a product-driven and high-performance culture within the engineering team.

Develop and champion technology strategy, and own the technology vision across all functions of the organization

Collaborate with engineering management leaders in Europe, the US, Canada, and the UK

Contribute to the long term vision with the leadership team

Build a high performing technology leadership team

Manage engineering and product leads globally

Develop plans for product development

Define programs in areas including security and data

Align roadmaps and guide delivery across multiple engineering teams globally

Drive software delivery and operational excellence across the full product lifecycle

Experience

8+ years of Software Development experience

5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership position, building and leading strong engineering teams

Have extensive experience with Python and Java-based web applications and their related ecosystem of libraries/frameworks (e.g. Django, Spring)

Have extensive experience working with and leading mobile app engineering teams

Have comprehensive experience building, leading teams, and maintain business-critical web applications at scale, including the build and deployment process

Have experience leading an engineering team in a remote or distributed team environment (in multiple time zones)

A self-starter who can operate at both the strategic level and the tactical execution level

A strong communicator and facilitator to manage high performing teams

Resourceful, self-motivated with a collaborative team mindset

Business or talent background within the startup or fast-growing tech Industry

Remote first work environment: Ability to work from anywhere in North America
